A suspension of lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus rhamnosus (previously referred to as Lactobacillus acidophilus) lyophilized in milk-saccharose carrier supplemented with monosodium glutamate. 1 intravaginal capsule contains about 1010 (not less than 108 CFU) of Lactobacillus rhamnosus rods.
LACTOVAGINAL® is recommended to help replenish and restore a normal bacterial flora in the vagina. It is indicated:
• for prophylactic use,
• in genital tract infections; following the treatment with antibacterial, antifungal and trichomonadicidal medicines,
• in the occurrence of vaginal discharge.
1 package (glass vial) contains 10 capsules.
